JCI Sen. Don Bales had the time of his life during the Antalya JCI World Congress last Nov. 5-11, 2007. As winner of last year's First Timer's Award in Korea, he was given FREE registration to this year's congress. This year's World Congress is housed in the Topkapi and Kremlin palace, a famous resort in Antalya by the Mediterranean Sea, and with an all inclusive arrangement (you can eat and drink as much as you want as if you're a sultan).

JCI Sen. Don attended the various events during the congress in support of the JCI Philippines delegation including the Opening Ceremonies, Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World Awarding, JCI Senate Dinner, JCI Awards Ceremony, and the Presidential Inauguration. He also attended the Omoiyari Campaign training by JCI Japan and also completed the JCI Head Trainer's Course by JCI University. He also conducted the "Being the Best JCI Member You Can Be!" training which was attended by more than 25 delegates from different countries. He attended the Trainor's Forum as well as spoke during the First Timer's Briefing as last year's winner. He also joined the JCI Football tournament as part of the JCI International mix team with players from USA, Denmark, Austria, Israel, and Colombia.

JCI Sen. Don supported the twinning efforts between JCI Makati Princess Urduja and JCI Andala (Turkey) in their theme "Bridging Cultural Diversity". He also had meeting discussions with JCI Makati's sister chapter, JCI Hongkong Island, as well as some other chapters from JCI Germany, JCI Canada, JCI UK, JCI Austria, JCI Lithuania, JCI Russia, JCI Macau, JCI Norway, JCI USA, JCI Australia, JCI Nigeria, JCI Suriname, JCI Poland, JCI Brazil, JCI Finland, JCI Denmark, JCI Switzerland, among others. Not to be outdone by official work functions, JCI Sen. Don together with the ladies from JCI Makati Princess Urduja also had fun touring the old historical ruins in Antalya and partying everyday until the break of dawn with a daily treat of Turkish night, German night, Japan night, Korean night, USA night, Canadaian night, Indian night, Tunisian night. With all the friends and memories he had in this World Congress, this is truly one of the greatest JCI experience he would never forget!
Next year's 2008 World Congress will be in New Delhi, India while the 2009 World Congress will be in Tunis
