JCI Makati Spreads the Christmas Spirit in Silang, Cavite

JCI Makati, in partnership with I Aicon Philippines, hosted a Christmas party and gift-giving for over 200 under-privileged families of Silang, Cavite. The event, dubbed as “Sakto 4 Pasko,” was held at the St. John Marie Vianne Parish Church on December 17, 2017. JCI Makati 2018 President, Filipino motivational speaker Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales was in charge of the program, together with I Aicon President and JCI Makati member Christian Leynes.

Giving of toys to kids

After the opening prayer and introduction, the party began with fun games for kids and adults, such as Trip to Jerusalem, candy relay and Pinoy Henyo. Prizes were given to the winners of each game.

Pocholo also came onstage to entertain the audience with his voice acting prowess. He did several voice impressions of cartoon characters, celebrities and even dead famous personalities. Towards the end, Pocholo also inspired them to strive to uplift their status in life, and to become an instrument of giving, loving, sharing and caring – the very theme of the celebration.

The celebration was followed by an afternoon snack for the participants, as well as giving of toys to the kids who were present. The celebration ended with the giving away of Noche Buena packages to 200 families.
